The Business Operations program offers online classes in
Microsoft Office, Personal and Professional Development,
Business Communications, Understanding Financial,
Administrative Duties, Introduction to Human Resources,
Social Media and Marketing, and The Art of Selling. This
combination is perfect for preparing students to
launch their own business, or find employment in
administrative fields, management roles, accounting
& entrepreneurship.

  1. To provide the student with a well-rounded understanding of today’s business environment nationally as well as internationally.
  2. To graduate students who understanding the diverse nature of administrative work within an office environment.
  3. To provide a more informed introduction of social media, marketing and sales.
  4. To engage the student in personal and professional conduct expectations.
  5. To help the student understand the current trends in professional business and how personal conduct may influence business.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (www.bls.gov) forecasts a projected decline of 4.2% from 20230 to 2033.

Despite declining employment, about 324,300 openings for secretaries and administrative assistants are projected each year, on average, over the decade. All of those openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to other occupations or exit the labor force, such as to retire.
